Transcend
I am thinking now that transcendence is a moment too. That place in between. It lasts in a blink or it lasts a lifetime. Not that I have experienced transcendence or have seen that nirvana but being closer and closer. Those moments come from somewhere unknown and unseen and elevate each of us to another dimension a new state of being. Reborn into life and its fullness once again. Moments unexpected or moments planned for and sought after.

The Hyphen
Living the hyphen. The dash. It really is like a surf board. Granted I do not surf.. Tried a couple of times. No balance. Prefer the terra firma beneath my feet. Standing up on water even with a board between is not an easy task. So how does one live the hyphen. I think that is the question. Reading on the internet I get bits and pieces. I think that is what I like about it. Usually one or two paragraphs about something. Maybe a page or two. Short bite sized nuggets of information. More then that and my brain is toast. I can read a lot quickly but it is here and there and all around the very rarely all in one place. A book provides that hard copy but it is all in one place, one narriation. Books are good but most difficult to become absorbed in the text and writer. I would not say it is adult onset ADHD but there is something within that makes it most difficult to proceed.

This is a good article on the Mayan Calendar. Some of the comments are way over the top but a fun read.

numbers
To answer the question.
The numbers are the dates on the mayan calendar. 13.0.0.0.0 is the beginning of the mayan calendar. the 12. 19.19.17.19 is the end of the mayan calendar and it will begin again at 13.0.0.0.0. Disputed is the date but around 12-20-2012 is the approximate date on our calendar.

Moments
The Hyphen is a blink perhaps. The Hyphen is an eternity perhaps. The Hyphen. Sounds like a super hero. The adventures of the Hyphen. He can distort the time/space continuum and interrupt a life. Before the trigger is pulled he steps out of time to move the target to safety. The Hyphen can ride the unseen waves. He corrects poor sentence structure as well.

a view
I heard a few weeks ago, and I will try to recount it here but pieces may be missing so if the teller of the tale finds the place please correct the story.
Imagine you are on your death bed. They say what when we die our entire lives flash before our eyes. We see it all everything we have done all the details of our lives. Imagine you are on your deathbed. Everything that is happening now is a memory. A flash going before you. You are seeing your life played out before you pass. You can choose now to make a change. It has happened and you are now given the opportunity to fix, to change, to effect your life and the way of living.

Deadication
I am not sure where I read it now. A post somewhere on the internet. Looking at the stone there is a birth date, a hyphen, and the date of passing. Everything between those two dates is a hyphen. We are living the hyphen. The hyphen is the moment. The hyphen is everything and everyone. Just a dash.
